🕺🏻Mongolian Folk Metal + ‘80s Pop Legends

It’s nearly Thanksgiving and I heard someone’s kids went swimming this week. What is the world coming to?

1. Cyndi Lauper - are you a girl? Do you just want to have fun? Do we have the event for you…She’ll be playing at the Toyota Center Saturday night. 

2. Secret Sunday - this Houston alt-rock band broke up 24 years ago. They’re coming back together with a (quite good) remastered album that won album of the year 1999 Houston Press Awards and will be playing at Last Concert Cafe Saturday night.

3. King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard - a wide-ranging neo-psychedelic rock band, they hail from Melbourne, Australia and will be at White Oak Music Hall Saturday night.

4. The HU - blending Mongolian throat singing and heavy metal, this band is in a genre of its own creation and will bring the sound of Ulaanbaatar to the House of Blues Friday night.
