1. Shelley King & Carolyn Wonderland - fans of blues, rock, folk, country, soul and gospel will be in luck Friday night at McGonigel’s Mucky Duck. Shelley King has won Austin Music Awards for Song of the Year and Best Roots Rock Band. 

2. Grifters & Shills - a local band, Grifters & Shills has a fun rockabilly sound and can be found at Dan Electro’s this Sunday afternoon.

3. Trudy Lynn - this Houstonian’s career started in the late ‘60s, opening for artists like Ike & Tina Turner. She’ll be singing the blues at The Big Easy Social & Pleasure Club on Saturday night. 

4. The Wilder Blue - their rock-inflected country invites comparisons to The Eagles and Alabama. They’ll be playing at Dosey Doe this Saturday.

5. Luke Combs - 2x CMA entertainer of the year, Luke Combs will be playing at NRG on Friday and Saturday night.
