🕺🏻London Jazz + Korean Alt-Rock

Hello Houston,

What a rough week. Best wishes to anyone out there still dealing with the aftermath.

Amidst all of this chaos there are still bands playing in Houston this weekend, so if you’re feeling up to it, here are a few highlights from the listings below:

1. Fuerza Regida - one of many Gen Z bands from Mexico putting a 2020s twist on Regional Mexican music, they’ll be playing at the Toyota Center this Saturday. 

2. Cage The Elephant - those looking for their alt/indie-rock fix can look no further as Cage The Elephant is playing at Cynthia Woods this Friday. They’ve released a new album just this year.

3. Acoustic Alchemy - a smooth jazz band from London that goes over like a cup of Earl Grey, they’ll be playing at Dosey Doe this Sunday.

4. The Volunteers - an alt-rock band from Seoul, South Korea will be playing at House of Blues this Saturday. Vocalist Yerin Baek lends a unique and special sound to this band - worth checking out.
