Labor Day Weekend is here and with it a fuller event calendar. Check out some of our highlights below and then explore the list for yourself! 

1. Chris Dave and the Drumhedz - a graduate of Houston High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, Chris Dave has been named as one of the 100 greatest drummers of all time by Rolling Stone and will be performing at Rockefeller’s Friday night.

2. Kikuo - this Japanese songwriter and vocaloid producer, the first to have surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify or to have toured internationally, will be playing at Home Run Dugout Sunday night.

3. RINAS - with vocals reminiscent of PJ Harvey with a punk twist, this up and coming band will be playing at 1810 Ojeman Saturday night.

4. Bent Knee - an art rock band formed at the Berklee College of Music in 2009, they’ve released a new album and will be playing at White Oak Music Hall.

5. Los Angeles Azules - progenitors of the Cumbia Sonidera sound with classics like “Como Te Voy A Olvidar,” they’ll be playing at Smart Financial Centre Friday night.
