🕺🏻Great Music in Houston This Weekend

Hello friends,

I feel like we say this every week, but there are some truly can’t-miss acts in Houston this weekend. Unfortunately your authors will be jet-lagged and bleary-eyed, so please go in our place!

A few highlights:

1. Moon Boots - blending house, disco, soul and R&B, Moon Boots will be playing at Stereo Live at 10:00pm on Saturday night (we wish we could be there)

2. Say Girl Say - this cool local indie talent will be playing at The Heights Theater on Saturday. If you’re a fan of Feist you’ll love Say Girl Say.

3. Anthony Garcia - soulful vocals and excellent composition combine to create a unique and sincere artist in Anthony Garcia. This skilled guitarist will be playing at McGonigel’s at 9:30pm on Saturday.

4. Vallejo - hailing from El Campo (just west of Houston), this band won best rock band in Austin’s 2000 Music Awards. They’ll be playing at Dan Electro’s on Friday at 8:30pm.

5. Alanis Morissette/Joan Jett/Morgan Wade - what a lineup! If you miss the ‘80s, the ‘90s or love contemporary country, this show has you covered Sunday night at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.
