In creating this newsletter we’ve found some weekends are better than others. This weekend is pretty great! Future Islands and Weezer are here Friday and Saturday night. Here are 5 more artists we’re highlighting this week: 

1. Montenko - what if you took the sound of the ‘70s and remixed it with an eye towards modern pop/R&B? You’d likely end up with something like this Austin artist playing at Dan Electro’s Saturday night.

2. Clairo - if you’re into laidback indie/bedroom pop vibes, she’s your ticket. We’re seeing her this Saturday at White Oak. 

3. M. Ward - with a dreamlike style of folk you can get lost in, he’ll be playing at the Heights Theater Saturday at 8:00pm.

4. Tody Castillo - this longtime Houston indie artist released an album this year and will be playing at Cactus Music Saturday afternoon.

5. Gorgon City - are you in the mood for some house music? Dance the night away at Stereo Live with this North London duo.
