1. Mike - 26 years old, this rapper has already won Pitchfork’s Best New Music award twice and will be playing at The Secret Group this Saturday.

2. Candlelight Concerts - if you haven’t been to one, you’ve probably seen them advertised. In our opinion: they’re worth it! Tickets sell out fast. Something about those candles…

3. Star Wars - the fourth may have already passed but Star Wars fanatics still have reason to celebrate as the Houston Symphony plays some of John Williams’ most memorable pieces all weekend at Jones Hall.

4. Brahms’ Fourth - we hold season tickets for the Mercury Chamber Orchestra and are always impressed by their unique concerts. Conductor Antoine Plante, originally from Quebec, brings warmth and humor to every performance.

5. Duelo - this popular Norteño-style band will be playing at the Smart Financial Centre. Their songs are ideal for singing your heart out whether you’re in love or recovering from a breakup.
